New sewing machine!
After continual frustration concerning wonky button holes, Melly finally bought that new machine. I am green! Buttonholes are now a thing of beauty - much to be admired. A new sewing machine has jumped up quite a few spaces on my "must have" list. Here is a picture of a gorgeous new bag she made while getting to know the new machine.
Now I know what I want for Christmas - thanks Melly!
I have been frantically working on a new applique quilt which I would love to have ready by the 1st of December for Rosalie Quinlan Designs. I seem to have a lot more time on my hands now not having to shampoo or style my hair - thanks chemo, no more bad hair days! Two thirds of the way through now and will finish one week before our Christmas holidays. Melly's and my family are all off to Lakes Entrance together for relaxation and margaritas (while the men and kids fish) - I hear there is a great patchwork shop up there as well as a few on the way too - what a shame!
Till next time - May the floss be with you!
Rosie.
