Denyse Schmidt fabric!!
We went for a trip to one of our favourite patchwork shops the other day, Patchwork on Central Park. We were like kids in a candy shop when our eyes fell upon the latest range by Denyse Schmidt called "Katie Jump Rope". Like Denyse's last range we knew that this fabric needed to be used for some new designing. The owner of Patchwork on Central Park, Lynn Clay, generously gave us some sampling of the entire range!!! She is so good to us and her support is priceless.
Now we have so much goodness to play with and you will hopefully see signs of it here soon! If you live in Melbourne and you haven't already visited Lynn's shop we can highly recommend it.
We will be drawing the winners of our giveaway tomorrow so if you haven't already, make sure you leave a comment of our previous post to be in the running! - Rosie & Melly

I came across your blogs by accident the other day and found it quite fun, I just love your little bees and lady birds, they look so cute, I could see them in a swag type decoration. i will come back and visit again

damn - I lived in Melbourne all my life until 2 weeks ago, only a 15mins drive from Patchwork on Central and I never went there! My Mum even went in there on my wedding day as I was married in a church just down the road from the store! I am now off to browse their website as that fabric is just lovely!

I recently attended the perth quilt fair ... walked around for hours and got pretty bored with the same boring stalls ... but something bright and gorgeous caught my eye ... it was your freya dolls and all the other lovely creatures you have created at the patchwork on central park stall. I walked away with all your patterns and went straight home to start on my freya ... but unfortunately my sewing skills has only been limited to doing funky yet simple quilts and cushions. so my first freya was somewhat abit obscure ... but my daughter still loved her.
Thank you for your beautiful designs. Denyse Schmidt fabrics are one my favourites along with liberty, kaffe fassett and amy butler.
