Activity galore

When we found out that we would be going to Quilt Market in Houston we decided amongst ourselves that we would use July to concentrate on a few new designs before starting preparations for our big adventure.  As a result there is a bit of design fever going on as we try and come up with some cute new items to add to our catalogue.  The next goal will be to make a bundle of samples for "sample spree" and organise a gorgeous display for our stand. Giraffe

Rosie headed off today to enjoy teaching at a fabulous "Christmas in July" retreat in Nundle - I am very jealous of the crafty weekend she will have but will make sure I use my time at home wisely!!

Dolcetto_2I think I may have a bit of a "Christmas in July" at home myself as the time seems right (after a little prompting - thank-you Emma) to start working on some Christmas designs for Melly & me.  So back to the pencil and paper I go to wait for inspiration. - Melly.

I love the giraffe! So cute :)

Aww so cute stuff! I love coming here and seeing what you ladies post. :)

Wow, a giraffe! She looks shy ánd naughty. I love her tail and the little ‘horns’(?). The fabric you have chosen is made for the job. Take care with your design-fever!

I want that giraffe! Wahhhh! And of course the bag is super cute.

I love the purse! The colors are so lovely. Do you sell purses on etsy? Or by special order?

oh the giraffe is wonderful - I love the way her legs are held on by buttons and of course I adore her polka dots. The bag is beautiful too, how do you always manage to come up with such gorgeous fabric combinations?

What a gorgeous Giraffe. Have resisted so far - but might have to take up making softies.

I'm jealous too as I have been to Nundle and it is such a great weekend. Love the bag and the colours are perfect for me.

The giraffe is great! looks like plans for the trip are progressing well! A well designed stand is a must and I am sure that you will have some really creative ideas for yours - can't wait to see what it turns out like!!
