Wow

Goodness, 520 comments!!!  I can hardly believe it - thank you all for joining in my celebration.

As I type this I am in the middle of getting ready for a great retreat this Saturday at "Quilter's Harvest" in Warracknabeal. Gail, Natalie and I are all heading off tomorrow morning on a fun road trip to spend a little bit of time with some fellow crafty souls.  I can't wait!  I hope I might be getting the opportunity to meet some of you there.

Also I have been hibernating in major design and pattern writing mode - there is just so much going on right now and I feel like I have a million hats on. The good news is that by the end of next week I hope to be back here to share with you all my last secret project for 2010. That will feel so good. But in the mean time here are a couple of sneak peaks of new creations this week. The above is set to be a new Melly & me pattern hopefully in the next week or so and may have something to do with my new friend Izzy iPad!  I have made this out of Rosie's new "Sweet Broderie" fabrics which are so adorable.

And this next peek has something to do with my secret project that will be revealed soon!  This project has been made out of my "Little Menagerie" which was oh so fun.

So lots to show and tell around the corner.

Swatch fun!

Today I remembered that I haven't been back to show you all the swatches of my fabric collections!  I did promise that I would reveal all soon, so I thought I had better come back and get straight onto that. Where did I leave that brain of mine?

So here are some digital swatches of what you can expect! Please note that these are the digital artwork and therefore they are not to scale and the colours may represent a little differently on fabric. You can click on the image to see the designs in much more detail.

My yardage of this fabric has been delayed a little bit, however today I started to get a head start by using some of the strike offs to get samples started for Houston.  Here is my "Raspberry Ripple" bag made with "Little Menagerie".  I love it!

Snowflake

I felt a little bit festive this week!

And "Where the Wind Blows" went into Christmas mode.  Meet Snowflake the Snowman!  He should be in pattern form within days.

Keeping on going.

The Melly & me silly season has begun in full swing and then next 2 and a bit months are set to be a swirl of cutting, sewing, binding, writing, making, organising, teaching and designing.  I am glad to say that this past week has been awfully productive and I am hopeful that I can keep the momentum going.
I thought I would take a pause between all of the craziness to share a couple of teases with you!  I have been working towards another new goal for 2010 and this is all a part of it. So no showing in full for now, but at least a little "Where the Wind Blows" eye candy!
