Now I know I am a little late in getting involved, but I hope it is a case of better late than never. Each day this week I have intended to get on here with an Auction, but there has been so much going on that I am only getting myself together today!! Thank you Toni for organising such a wonderful appeal!
I am sure you are probably all very aware of the devastation, loss of lives and loss of property that has continued throughout this week for the people of QLD. If you are only hearing about this now, then please go here to read more!!
So as my part of supporting the very worthy cause of raising money I want to announce my auction!!
My auction will be for "A Years Supply of......
AND
The highest bidder on this auction will receive 1 of everything that I release in 2011 as soon as it is released! That includes every "Melly & me" and "Sew Little" pattern that I release, a copy of the "Melly & me" book that will be released mid 2011 and a pre-release selection of my 2011 fabric collection.
To bid on this auction please simply leave a comment with the sum that you would like to bid in Australian dollars! The highest bidder at midnight on Monday the 24th January (my time!) will win!! At the end of the auction, I will contact the winner (please ensure your email address is on the comment!) who will need to pay the winning amount directly into the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal and send me proof of payment via email.
Good luck!!
Melly

This is a positive response for your unending support to the people of QLD. Lives and property were lost and this auction can boost their morale to continue life. I do appreciate people with kind hearts that are willing to do their own share by helping others in their own little way. Thanks a lot for the good deed.

Wow Melly, this is above and beyond the call of duty. Well done girl. I am not going to bid, as I am in Brisbane (will have to keep the money close to home), but luckily didn't suffer from flooding (were ordered to evacuate, but the traffic was too bad! Thought we might get swept away with the water). I think the next few months however will affect my family in the way of limited fresh food, raised prices of the necessities etc.

How generous of you Melly! And what a great auction to win - unfortunately, it is out of my price range. But I hope other people are generous enough to donate their bids anyway!

never too late. When the media has gone, the disaster and its effects will still be in our streets. So any help will be just great.
thank you.
A lot of families here aren't covered for flood due to where they live they won't have normal lives for atleast 2 years.

That is incredibly generous of you Melly. Like Kelli I will be keeping my dollars close to home to support the families I know who have been affected - but it is lovely to know that those who have been so incredibly misfortunate have support from far and wide. Bless you Melly!
