They are here!... well some anyway.

There was just a little bit of excitement last week when the truck driver arrived with our delivery of "Sewn Toy Tales."  I think the truck driver thought we were completely insane and is probably not used to a bunch of giggling girls whipping out their iPhone cameras and jumping up and down when he delivers a pallet of boxes to most businesses. We were so awfully excited as our pre-copies have gotten lost in transit so this was our first glimpse at our new books!  And let me tell you - they are yummy!!  Such gorgeous books full of amazing photos and great tips and tricks as well as our beautiful 12 Toy patterns.  

We have spent the last few business days madly getting the books out to the stores in Australia that had placed pre-orders and were surprised to find out that we didn't have enough books to fill all of the pre-orders - they are already all gone! But we are assured there will be another shipment to Australia due in approximately August, Yay!  Sooooo now that you may start seeing the books filter down to your local patchwork stores here in Australia, I had better share with you the last four toys! We really wanted to be able to run a giveaway to celebrate this exciting event, but now that every copy has headed off to shops and we still don't have our pre-copies, it may have to wait until another day.  

Once our pre-copies find their way to us, we promise to be back with a few copies to share.  In the mean time we hope you have loved seeing all of our critters, and make sure you snap up a copy if you see them or you may have to wait until August for another opportunity.  For those in other parts of the world, I am not sure of the expected date of arrival but I hope they are just around the corner for you too.

Nearly here......

I am so excited to share with my fellow Australians that the "Sewn Toy Tales" books have docked on Aussie shores!!! Eeeeek, I am so excited.  I think we are expecting that the books will be with the distributors next week which means it is only a matter of 1-2 weeks before they hit the shelves of Aussie shops!!  I am so excited that they have arrived so early and cant wait to see them in the flesh. (To those living in other corners of the globe, I can only assume the the book wont be too far away for you also)

So maybe this is the occasion to share a couple more photos?

Farmers Market

Just a quick post to let you know that the "Farmers Market" bag (previously seen in Homespun Magazine) has now been released in pattern form.

I just love this bag! It is the perfect "carry all" bag - great for taking along on your next shopping trip.

More Sewn Toy Tales

I have to admit I am getting awfully excited as the wait for holding a copy of this book in my hot little hands gets shorter and shorter!  So time to come back and share a couple more of our "Sewn Toy Tales" friends with you....

As I mentioned there are some great boy friendly designs in this book, so why not share a couple of those.....This cheeky little fellow is Alvin the Alien

And his best buddy, Harry the monster. These two designs are also really beginner friendly so there is something for everyone!

I think that must mean we are half way through!  6 more cute designs to still share with you in the coming weeks.  I hope you are loving them and getting equally as excited for the book release as I am.

On the crafting front I have spent the last few weeks jumping between working on secret retreat projects, dreaming up new fabric designs, playing the lazy patient as well as being awfully distracted. But I have a feeling that my mojo is soon to return and I will have something new to share with you just around the corner..... I feel a new bag calling!
