The countdown continues for Quilt Market with only 8 sleep to go!
I cant tell you how excited I am to meet any of you who are going to be there. It has been 18 months since my last Quilt Market and I cannot wait to be a part of that exciting buzz once again. If you are going along, please make sure you come see me at booth 1429 or at sample spree to say g'day!
I have been packing the patterns to ship off to myself today which includes the new look "The Fat Quarters Bag" I just felt a need to give this pattern a facelift with a cute new sample and photo, hope you like the new version.
I also finally made up a little something extra to go with my Sew Little "Rubber Ducky" quilt. This cute little matching rattle is so sweet in its simplicity, I just love it.

In other "non sample sewing" news, I also wanted to let you know about a couple of up-coming classes I will be holding in Ferntree Gully. Please see the following for further info. There will be sure to be more classes in term 3, so keep an eye out!!

I hadn't noticed your fat quarter bag until you just posted this and was doing a happy dance (whilst seated on the couch) at the thought of a new Melly and Me bag! Well done with your new sample - clearly it did make your pattern more noticable. I'm loving your ducky quilt and rattle too. Travel safely to the US - I'm sure your booth will be amazing! Wish I lived closer to Ferntree Gully for those classes!

Hi Melly, Just have to tell you I love Pookie and so does my daughter who is 21. As soon as I showed her the picture she asked could I make her one. Guess I will have to give it a go. Your display at Quilt Market looked absolutely divine. I wish I had it all in my house.

To complement your body shape with your bag, you have to choose a shape that is the opposite of your body silhouette. For instance, if you are very tall and thin, you can add a slouchy, rounded hobo bag to add some curves to your figure.
