Oh my! That backpack is bigger than him!
Good luck (and what a nice teacher)!

Ok Melly...now I need a tissue! I can't imagine how that day will feel for me because it broke my heart the first day I left him at preschool. As it is right now, I feel like time is moving by too fast!Ok need more tissue...

Hugs!

that teacher is worth their weight in gold, I think you & your little one will have a good year, despite the heatache of leaving them on their first day. I can still remember the mixed emotions ( but mainly tears) even thou it was 8 yrs ago now.

My oldest is 22 and I had a difficult time leaving him at that age too. The younger ones were easier. I may have thrown the twins into class and complained about when I had to come back for them. ;-) haha I think you have left your little man in very capable hands! What a wonderful thing for a teacher to do. It makes me teary just to think about!

I remember my daughter off to her first day of school. She was my 4th child, only girl, and she never looked back when she got out of the car. She's 23 now and we laugh about that day. I cried for 4 hours!! Sounds like you have a very thoughtful teacher to take care of your little guy. Welcome to the club!!

Oh what a wonderful teacher that must be! It's a big step, but it also goes fast -- enjoy these school days. My daughter is in her first year of college. I still remember sending her off for her first day of school. I still have my son at home, but only for 3 1/2 more years. I'm enjoying every minute of it while I can!

I'm sitting here bawling my eyes out... and I don't even have school ages kids!!! I hope that you're doing okay and that baby floss is doing alright without her big brother around. How blessed you are to have such a wonderful teacher for your little boy! :)
