Thank you for all of the studio love!!! I really am finding it so completely delightful to have such a creative haven to work in. I find myself wandering down there constantly just to soak it all in and realise it's real! haha.
Well I thought I would come back super quickly to share with you the first creation from my new studio. My new dolly "Miss Melly"
When I created this dolly I just knew she had to be my namesake! Not that she resembles me in any way whatsoever, but she just makes me feel so happy. Fully made with my own fabric collection, “Snug as a Bug” (due August), I think that Miss Melly truly reflects my design style from start to finish! This dolly has everything sewn in to seams so that she is safe and durable for even the smallest of hands! I just love her and I hope you do too - The pattern is all written and ready to be ordered!
xx Melly
Oh this dolly just adorable! My 3 Year Old walked in while I was reading your blog and she asked... Mummy can I have her? Miss Melly is just beautiful!

The first thing I thought, like I think everybody did was: She is sooo cute.
After I closer look I saw her hair which is really a great idea... and the crochet flower (maybe I love crochet flowers so much because I can't crochet ):
thumbs up for your first creation in your new studio!
